    1. I cannot remember where I heard the concept of “I Cover the Waterfront” being a euphemism and cannot find any reference to it on the internet……but I am at least 90% sure that I am right…think it was in a biography of the singer Billie Holiday or the book The Wise Wound, Penelope Shuttle
