Fibs from a 3 year old
Recently I spent 3 days baby sitting my 3 year old nephew. I was the substitute teacher of babysitters. Here is a few of the fibs he told me.
He told me we were allowed to wee in the back yard.
He told me he doesn’t wear pullups anymore. This was particularly annoying because we were sharing a bed.
And he assured me that he is allowed to sit on the sofa with the dog.
None of these it turns out were true and I started to clue on towards the end. In order to catch the little monkey out I began recording some of our conversations.
I checked with his mother and he does not eat ice cream for lunch every day

Train trips
I have been catching the train from Newcastle to Sydney a couple of times a week lately. There is some really stunning views from Hornsby to Gosford so I snapped some images on my phone and here they are.
The puppy that followed me home
This puppy followed me home.
Her bum kind of looked like Jesus.
I put up some “Puppy Found” notices and then I let her sleep in my bed.
The next day I took her to the local vet and her owner picked her up.
I miss having a dog 
Augmented Reality T-Shirt
I have been playing around with augment reality apps for Android and thinking of useful ways to integrate them into my every day life. Augmented reality fashion will allow us to change our appearance with a push of a button. Imagine having a video conference wearing a comfortable t-shirt but appearing as though you are wearing a suit. Other applications include awesome Halloween costumes, girlfriends getting ready quickly, and never turning up to a party wearing the same clothes as someone else. This is just a fun proof of concept but I will attempt to make more useful 3d models to augment over the real t-shirt.
Augmented reality is in its infancy but in the future we should be able to create really useful applications such as augmented girlfirends.
